ConfigMgr SCCM Log file details for Linux Mac and Unix Devices

Configuration Manager 2012 SP1 added Linux, Macintosh and Unix operating systems support. However, the log file details for these Operating Systems are published recently. Following are the quick details of the Linux, Unix and Macintosh log files.

Linux and UNIX (ccmexec.bin)

scxcm.log –> This log provides info aboutInfo about CCMEXEC. Log file location =/var/opt/microsoft/configmgr/scxcm.log

scxcmprovider.log—> This log file provides details aboutCIM service. Log File Location =/var/opt/microsoft/configmgr/scxcmprovider.log

Mac (Macintosh)

CCMClient.log –> This log file provides details about Application Management Inventory. Log File Location =/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/CCM/Logs

CCMAgent.log –> This log file provides details aboutLogoff and Login Activities. File Location =~/Library/Logs

CCMNotifications.log –> This log file provides details aboutCM notifications. File Location = ~/Library/Logs

CCMPrefPane.log–> This log file provides details aboutStatus and Error details. File Location = ~/Library/Logs
