Download and Install ConfigMgr SCCM 2012 SP1 RTM

Update :- ConfigMgr / System Center 2012 Configuration Manager 2012 is now available for download in Technet / MSDN subscription download

Microsoft has announced ConfigMgr SCCM 2012 SP1 RTM (Released To Manufacturing) for TAP customers. General availability will be in early January 2013. As per Mary Jo Foley’s report Microsoft already confirmed this.

I’ve already shared the enhancements via following post ConfigMgr 2012 SP1 Enhancements a Quick Walk. SP1 upgrade checklist would be helpful to perform smooth upgrade via SCCM 2012 SP1 Upgrade Checklist.

If you’re already upgraded lab or test environment to SCCM Service Pack 1 Beta then you won’t be able to directly install SP1 RTM. The supported option is to perform a fresh installation.

  1. FYI: This is SP1 for the entire SC suite, not necessarily SCCM 2012 SP1. Note the announcement was posted in the DPM forum.
