Bangalore ITPro User Group Meeting details of Intune SCCM 2016 and Windows 10 Sessions

We had a great Bangalore ITPro User group meeting. Thank you for coming in and attending this event during the weekend. I always feel in person user group events are to give an overview the products and technologies which we are interested. More than that it helps us to interact with core techies who are ready to spend their weekend time with other ‪#‎ITPros‬ It’s great to see people coming down from neighboring states like Andra and Kerala for attending UG meetings !! In this post, I’ll share the overview of Intune and Windows 10 sessions and also slide deck presented for Sccm 2016 session by Guru and Venkat !!


Windows 10 session was to give an overview of new operating system from Microsoft. Windows 10 would be a great experience for you if you have not tried yet then don’t wait anymore. You can try upgrading Windows 7 machines to Windows 10 as explained in the blog post How to Upgrade Windows 7 Laptop to Windows 10. More posts related to Windows 10. Microsoft Intune session was to give overview of Intune Groups, Intune Dynamic Groups (using Dynamic Azure AD security groups), Intune Configuration policies, Intune compliance policies and How to upload applications to cloud storage or Intune etc… I’ve an old post which gives some idea about how to upload an application to Microsoft Intune. Also, there are other posts can give you more details Microsoft Intune.

SCCM ConfigMgr 2016 session was to give an overview about exciting new features of vNext version. This session was hosted by Guru Vaidya and Venkat Ramaiah. You can download their presentation from here. The sessions explained about Windows 10 in-place upgrade, Mobile Application Management, Data protection for mobile devices, Preferred management points, On-premises mobile device management (MDM), Support for Microsoft Azure virtual machines, Client deployment status in console monitoring.
