How to Fix Resolve SCCM SSRS Timeout Expired Error ConfigMgr
See the error message. How to Fix Resolve SCCM SSRS Timeout Expired Error ConfigMgr.
An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
Query execution failed for dataset ‘DataSet3’. (rsErrorExecutingCommand)
For more information about this error, navigate to the report server on the local server machine, or enable remote errors
Logged into SQL server and ran the same report from the server as per the below note on the error “For more information about this error navigate to the report server on the local server machine.”
I ran the same report from the SQL server, and the error got more clear now 🙂
An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
Query execution failed for dataset ‘DataSet3’. (rsErrorExecutingCommand)
Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed before completion of the operation or the server is not responding
I tried to change “Site Setting” in the SSRS web portal as mentioned below, but that didn’t help.
Launched the console and navigated through Reporting -> Reporting Services -> \\Servername -> All reports – > Properties of “Software 02D – Computers with a specific software product.”
As the error was pointing to “DataSet3” change the timeout option of “DataSet3” from 30 to 1800.
And that is it !!! The issue is resolved !!!

Hi ! – I was talking about SCCM Console.
I assume this is in SCCM 2007 as I can’t find mentioned tools in SCCM 2012 console, any hints how to achieve the same in SCCM 2012?
