To solve this issue, Microsoft published an out-of-band (OOB) update (KB5061906) on May 23, 2025. This non-security update for Windows Server 2022 is only available through the Microsoft Update Catalog.
For IT environments with Windows Server 2022 devices running Hyper-V, Microsoft recommends installing the out-of-band (OOB) update KB5061906, released on May 23, 2025.
