Today we are discussing a new topic: Delay Before Running Idle Actions in MS Edge using Intune Policy. This setting is configured using Intune policies, and it plays an important role in how idle browser actions are handled. As we all know, Microsoft Edge provides different types of policies for organizations, which administrators can configure through Microsoft Intune.
These policies allow admins to manage security, productivity, and compliance across their organization. In today’s discussion, we are focusing specifically on the Idle Browser Actions section in Microsoft Edge policies. This area of configuration is designed to control what happens when a browser is left idle without user activity.
When the policy is set, administrators can define a specific length of time in minutes after which the idle actions should be executed. This gives flexibility to organizations to decide how long a machine should remain inactive before action is taken.
The configured actions are controlled by the Idle Time out Actions policy, which determines what happens once the computer reaches the idle threshold. Examples of such actions may include locking the browser, signing the user out, or clearing session data.

What is the Purpose of the Idle Timeout Policy?
