Managing ISP List Downloads in the Internet Connection Wizard using Intune

Hey, let’s discuss about Managing ISP List Downloads in the Internet Connection Wizard Using Intune. This policy controls whether the Internet Connection Wizard can download the list of Internet Service Providers (ISPs) from Microsoft servers. When this policy is enabled, the device will not connect to Microsoft to get ISP information. This helps organizations control how internet connections are set up.

The Internet Connection Wizard is used when setting up a new internet connection on a device. Normally, it may download a list of ISPs to help users choose a provider. This policy stops that automatic download. As a result, users must manually enter connection details.

This policy is useful in managed or corporate environments. It ensures that devices do not contact external Microsoft servers during setup. This supports stricter network and security requirements.

By enabling this policy, IT administrators maintain better control over network configuration. It reduces unnecessary internet traffic during device setup. It also helps keep device behavior consistent across the organization.
