Let’s learn about Copilot Labs’s new features, Think Deeper and Copilot Vision, which only Pro Subscribers can access. At Copilot Labs, we can test and learn in a controlled preview environment.
Copilot is a powerful tool that was created to enhance your writing process. It offers suggestions, helps summarise and edit, and supports generating content. Copilot can also assist in scheduling a meeting invitation using an email in Outlook.
Copilot Labs allows us to experiment with new experiences, collect valuable feedback, and refine before an open release. Some Copilot Pro subscribers in specific countries will initially see the Copilot Labs label on particular features.
The new features available in Copilot Labs are Think Deeper and Copilot Vision. Today, I would like to review these new features and explain how they work in the digital life.

Think Deeper
Think Deeper allows Copilot to handle complex problems using advanced reasoning models. It can help with anything from solving tricky math problems to figuring out the costs of managing home projects. Think Deeper Copilot may take more time to respond, providing detailed, step-by-step answers to challenging questions.
- Think Deeper started rolling out on 1st October 2024 to a limited number of Copilot Pro users in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Copilot Vision
Copilot Vision is your visual AI companion in Edge. You can speak to it in natural language, and it will suggest the following steps, answer questions, help you navigate what you want to do, and assist with tasks. Copilot Vision uses website content to enhance user experience. This new feature promotes Copilot’s improved and practical use to a new level.
- Microsoft will gradually introduce Copilot Vision to a limited number of Copilot Pro subscribers in the United States later this fall.

When creating Copilot Vision, Microsoft focused on the needs of users and creators. The feature is optional and only activates when you choose to use it. You have complete control over when and how you want to use it. In this preview version, no content will be stored or used for training. Once you close the feature, all data is permanently discarded.
Paywall
Microsoft limits access to its service by blocking paywalled and sensitive content. Initially, the service will only be available for a pre-approved list of popular websites. When Vision interacts with these websites, it respects their machine-readable controls on AI. Vision is designed to drive traffic to websites. If a website has a paywall, Copilot Vision will not provide comments. Copilot Vision answers questions and does not interact with the web directly.
