Let’s discuss an easy way to Install PaperCut MF using the Intune Enterprise App Catalog App. Microsoft Intune’s Enterprise App Catalog simplifies application deployment with pre-packaged Win32 apps. This catalog allows organizations to quickly add essential software to devices, saving time and effort.
PaperCut MF provides organizations with a centralized system to manage their printing resources. This software allows administrators to track and control print, copy, and scan activity, reducing costs and improving security. Users can access the system through a web browser, enabling convenient management anywhere on the network.
We have a blog post related to enabling Internet printing on a server. This Policy allows web-based printer access and management but requires IIS and proper configuration. It primarily impacts the server’s setup, not the client’s. Essentially, it allows remote printer control through a web interface.
PaperCut MF offers a comprehensive solution for efficient and secure print management. It provides increased accountability, environmental awareness, reduced printing costs, and improved efficiency and network reliability. It also strengthens security.

Requirements
The Requirements settings help us to control how the app is deployed by defining what devices can install it. You can specify the required operating system type, like 32-bit or 64-bit, and set the minimum version. This ensures that the app only installs on devices that meet these requirements. After setting these criteria, click the Next button to proceed to the next step of the installation setup.

The Detection Rule tab is for advanced app presence detection, but you usually don’t need to change these settings. Here, we can see the app and registry paths. The Microsoft Intune Enterprise App Catalog makes app installation easy by automatically handling detection so you can skip this tab.

Scope Tags
In Microsoft Intune, scope tags control which objects—like devices, policies, and profiles—administrators can see and manage. By assigning tags based on categories like location or department, only the appropriate administrators can access certain resources. Scope tags work with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to enable this control.

- We can skip the scope tags tab.
