It gives businesses a flexible and accessible way to communicate. Instead of using physical phone lines, Aircall allows users to make and receive calls using software on their devices.
Aircall removes complex hardware installations, enabling businesses to manage phone systems from a centralized online platform. Aircall enhances communication efficiency with features like call recording, call analytics, voicemail transcription, and integrations with CRM and helpdesk software.
Aircall uses a strong system for reliable, high-quality communication. It depends on Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology, which transmits voice data. When you make a call, the audio converts into digital packets and is sent to the other person.

Install Aircall for Desktop using Intune Enterprise App Catalog App
Installing Aircall through the Intune Enterprise App Catalog is easy. To do so, we should logon the Microsoft Intune Admin Center. From there, go to Apps and choose All Apps. Next, click the Add button and select Enterprise App Catalog as the app type.

App Information
In the App Information, click on Search the Enterprise app catalog to browse and install various applications. This hyperlink makes it easy to find the specific app you want to add. A pop-up window will appear where we able to see two tabs labeled Select App and Configuration. We can easily search for its name into the search bar, allowing us to quickly locate and choose it for our setup.
- Here, I select the App name, Aircell for Desktop
- Hit Next

Now, we can see the Configuration tab, where all the details about the selected app are provided, such as package name, language, architecture, version etc.

After clicking Select, we enter into the App information’s next window. Here, you will see all the details about the selected app, such as Name, description, publisher, version, etc.; all data are pre-filled. You can edit any of the details if you want.
- Click Next

We are still on the App Infromation step. Here, click on the Select Image option to add a logo to the application. We can choose the image from the file explorer, which was already saved, and upload it.
- Click Next to further procedure.

Program
On the next page of the Windows Catalog App (Win32), in Program, you will have options to specify the commands to install and unistall to the specified app. Click Next.

Requirements
This step specifies requirements, such as operating system architecture and minimum operating system, that devices must meet before the app is installed. Now, you can click on the Next to the installation process continue.

Detection Rules
The next step is Detection Rules. This rule checks whether an application is installed on a device. It is a part of the information that Microsoft provides for applications in its catalog. In the detection rule, clicking on the file path reveals the complete detection method with both file paths. It will check for the application’s presence.

Scope Tag
Scope tags in Microsoft Intune help administrators organize Intune objects, such as devices and apps. They control which administrators can view or manage specific objects, improving security and simplifying management based on organizational roles.
- The Scope Tag is an optional feature in Microsoft Intune used during the app deployment process.
- Hit Next to proceed

Assignments
In the Assignments section in Microsoft Intune, you can control who has access to an app by assigning groups of users to include and exclude. Here, we can select groups to assign the policy.
- Tap the Add Groups from the Included Groups.
- Select the groups from the group list.
- In this case, I select HTMD-Test Computers
- Click Next

Review + Create
We are now in the Review + Create section. In this step, we will review the app details provided in the previous steps, including the app information, program, requirements, and more. Before installing the app, verify all the details. You can edit the information from this section if any modifications are needed.
- Click on the Add App option to complete the installation

Monitor Status
After clicking Add App, you will notify that the application added and successfully created. Then we can monitor the app status which is important in the deployment process. It ensures that the app has been successfully installed on the assigned groups.
After the app has been assigned to these groups, the deployment process may take up to 8 hours to complete. So, you can sync the app manually in the company portal.
- Go to the Company portal> settings, and click on the sync.

End User Experience
After the manual syncing, the app will automatically be deployed to the workstation. To confirm the installation, open the company portal and go to Downloads and Updates. Now, you can search for the installed App. Aircall for Desktop.
