  • First, Open the Microsoft Edge
  • Then click on the 3 … option (Settings and More)
  • Select Settings from those options

When you open the settings, you may get many options right there; from those options, focus on the Languages option from the settings. So click on the languages option. Many related settings will appear on the right when you click on languages.

  • Under Writing Assistance, you can see the option called ”Use Compose (AI-writing) on the web.

  • To disable this, turn off the toggle pane from the Right to the Left

2. Enable Disable the Copilot Rewrite Feature Through the Registry

Registry is a crucial setting in Windows; it may help ensure the proper functioning of Windows and its applications. You can easily customize applications through this Registry. You can easily Disable the Rewrite with the Copilot feature on Edge. by giving the appropriate path.

Copy this: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Edge

  • In the Edge option, you can right-click on that and select the New
  • From the New option, Click on the DWORD (32-bit) value

When you create a new value of DWORD (32-bit), you can give a name to that. Here, I give ComposeInlineEnabled. You can double-click on that value and set it to 0 to Disable the Copilot Rewrite feature through the Registry.
