How it Works
So, we can first sign into the Microsoft Intune Admin center with the credentials. After log in in, navigate Device>Configuration> New policy. A new policy is the option for creating a new one in an Intune Admin center.
Then, a new window will be seen on the screen, and you can choose the Platform and Profile Type here. Select Windows 10 and later as the platform and Settings catalog as the Profile type. Then click we need to click the Create.
We all know that the Intune Admin Center allows five steps for policy creation. The first important step is the Basic section. Here, we have to enter the policy name and details. This section is always used to find the policy name later. So, it is very important to enter all those details.

The next step in this section is configuration settings, which allow you to add settings to the policy. When you click on the configuration settings, you will see a text hyperlink(+ Add setting). You have to click on the Add settings, and you will get another window for the settings picker. There, you have to select the Browser category.

The “Review and Create” step is the final stage in the policy creation process. It serves as the last opportunity to ensure that all the details and settings associated with the policy are correct before finalizing the creation of the policy.
- You will then receive a notification confirming that the policy has been created.
- You can now close the “Create Profile” section.
Monitor Status
When you create a new policy for a device, it usually takes up to 8 hours to apply automatically. However, you can speed up the process by manually syncing the policy. This forces the device to check in with the management server right away and apply the policy without waiting.

- Navigate to Settings.
- Click on Sync.
After the sync process has completed, you can verify that the policy has been successfully applied by checking the Intune portal by going to Device > Configuration and selecting the policy.
Client Side Verification
To monitor the status of the Allow Speech model update in Intune, you can use Event Viewer. Go to the Start and type “Event Viewer.” Then, navigate to Application and Services Logs > Microsoft > Windows > DeviceManagement–Enterprise–Diagnostics–Provider > Admin.
In the right pane, click Filter Current Log, enter 813 in the Event IDs field, and click OK. This will filter the logs to show only entries related to the policy’s status, so you can quickly review its deployment and application without having to go into the Intune portal.
