Reson for the Issue and Workaround
There are many reasons a feature is greyed out. Above we see a screenshot in that screenshot the location device is greyed out after the first request made by the admin. The main reason why this feature is greyed out is may be the admins turned off the locations that’s why this error happens. Let’s look the reasons and fixes for this issue below.
- The another reason is the device may be on to the Offline mode. You have to enable that first.
- If the device is not Corporate owned or Fully managed android devices. You have to understand that this feature only works on Corporate owned or Fully managed android devices.
- Company portal app permissions is required. The devices give the permissions to access the device’s locations any time.
- You can Try refreshing options sometimes.
- You can also check the network connections are stable or not.
- Also you can check if any policies blocking the GPS.
