In this new Exam user interface, Microsoft ensures certification exams are accessible to everyone. The newly designed UI results from experts working together in exam design, delivery, and accessibility. With these new improvements, the UI works well on different devices.
The updated UI provides a smooth and unified experience from start to finish. Microsoft’s new update on the certification exam will launch on March 9, 2024, at 11 PM Pacific Time for all Pearson VUE–delivered exams. The new design of the UI ensures a smooth experience across various devices.
The new update offers that when you successfully pass the exam, you’ll see a cheerful screen similar to the certification renewal success screen. Also, the latest improvements include changes designed to help candidates better understand how they’re doing during the exam.

Microsoft is announcing the new Microsoft Exam Experience. This improvement to the Exam UI gives you a completely different experience. It’s all about making things clearer and easier for you. Some examples of the new look of the Microsoft Exam Experience are given below.

1. Exam Summary

2. Exam Overview and Instructions
You can read all the exam formats and question formats in the exam overview and instructions. This overview gives all the exam session details, exam content sections and post-exam section details. The timing is an essential factor in every exam; here, it mentions the time instructions are given.
3. Start Exam
The next step is a window for starting the exam; in this window, you will get the exam time details and mention that you can’t return to a section once you have completed it.

This Exam screen contains some toolbars that contain the “Exam Progress” subway map, showing the completed, current, and remaining sections of the exam. This will reduce exam anxiety. The side toolbar offers more space for questions, minimizing scrolling.
5. Exam Clock Toggle
There is an important change in the new Microsoft Certification exam’s Exam Clock Toggle. With this improvement, you have the power to control the exam clock. You can toggle the clock on or off as needed, whether you prefer to see the time for the exam or want to focus on the questions.
6. Review Screen Toolbars
The Microsoft Certification exam question review screen focuses on the collapsed Exam Toolbar and its hover feature. The toolbar, which typically displays various options, now maximizes the space for question content. By collapsing it, you can focus on the questions without any distractions.

7. Modernized Color Scheme Options

8. Expanded Exam Toolbar, Exam Question Progress bar, and the Exam Clock Toggle
