Let’s have a quick look at WVD Workspace URL & Microsoft Store Remote Desktop App. You can log in to the WVD workspace using a Microsoft Remote Desktop client. There are different versions of the Remote Desktop client that can run on almost any device, including on your mobile smartphone.

TL;DR
Download Microsoft Remote Desktop

Add Workspace
- Click on + ADD button to add a new workspace to Remote Desktop App

Add Workspace URL
- I tried entering email ID but couldn’t find any subscriptions associated with that email (More configuration required for auto-discovery of workspace via email).

- Enter the following workspace URL for ARM-based host pools
- Click on Subscribe button

- Enter the user name and password

- I normally don’t allow my organization to manage my device
- Selected No, sign in to this app only
Do NOT click on the OK button

Launch
- Click on Remote Desktop icon

- Login to Remote Desktop – Session Host
- Click on Connect button

- Enter the user name and password

- If you get the following error, try reconnecting:
Disconnect code: UnknownError, legacy code: 0x300006D, legacy extended code: 0x0, activityId: {ce29c30c-0686-40b4-869e-5f8573dd0000}
Results
- Connected successfully to Remote Desktop using WVD.

Additional Settings for Remote Desktop Client
- Click on Settings

- Click on + button from User account section

- Enter the account details
- Enter the Username
- Enter Password
- Click on the Save button

Remote Desktop Preview
There is another Remote Desktop preview application available in Microsoft store. Let’s have a quick review of the review app.

- Click + Add button to add remote WVD resources/host pools
- Click Find Feeds

- Select Work or School account option
- Click on Continue

- WVD Error CAA2002 – This could be because of Conditional Access policies. I will cover this in a different post in future.
