Let’s learn how to enable and disable Shared Experiences in Windows 11. Shared Experiences allow the user of cross-device experiences to continue experiences such as Nearby Sharing and Sharing Across Devices. Microsoft’s Project Rome powers this feature.
It allows developers to share experiences across devices on their apps, which could be Windows or Android apps. Now, users can open apps, share web links, continue reading articles that may have been left incomplete on OneDrive or one of their other devices, and more.
You can disable the Continue Experience on this device policy so other devices cannot discover the Windows device and cannot participate in cross-device experiences.
The share experience feature is easily found under System Settings in Windows 10, whereas in Windows 11, it is shifted to the Apps section. Many users have faced difficulties locating the feature. This article discusses how to enable or disable this feature.
NOTE: You must log in as Administrator to make the following changes.
