Microsoft Products Reaching End of Support in 2025!!! Yes, it will happen soon. Several Microsoft products will be retiring or reaching their end of support in 2025. In this post, I want to discuss the latest updates on this topic.
Most commercial products and services follow either the Fixed Policy or the Modern Policy. These policies define the timelines for support and servicing. When a product reaches the end of support or a service is retired, it will not get security updates, non-security updates, or support. So, customers are urged to upgrade to the latest version of the product or service.
Enterprise customers can receive migration assistance through App Assure, part of FastTrack. This application compatibility program addresses and resolves application issues when upgrading to the latest Microsoft products.
If any customer needs extra time to upgrade, the Extended Security Update (ESU) program offers security updates for some older products up to three years after support ends.
