Restart MS Edge

The first step is restarting the browser whenever you face a missing toolbar. Occasionally, it’s just a temporary bug. Restarting your browser is the first and simplest way to restore it. Close the browser fully and reopen it. If it’s a temporary issue, your toolbar will come back. If the problem continues, try the next step.

Clear Cache and Browser Data

If your toolbar suddenly disappears, it is because of a cluttered cache or corrupted browser data. To restore the missing toolbar, you should clear the browsing data containing history, passwords, cookies, and more. There is the option of what to clear.   • Open the Settings and More menu by selecting the three dots (…) in the upper-right corner of the Microsoft Edge browser or pressing Alt + F.

Navigate to Privacy, Search, and Services. You can see Clear browsing data there.

  • Click Choose what to clear.

When you click Choose what to clear, a pop-up window will appear where you can select whatever you want to clear. This might include browsing and download history, cookies and other site data, and cached images and files.

  • Select Clear Now.
  • After that, Restart Microsoft Edge to see if your toolbar appears.

Temporarily Disable the Installed Extensions

  • Open the Settings and More menu by selecting the ellipses () in the upper-right corner of your Microsoft Edge browser or Alt + F.
  • Select Extensions from the dropdown menu.
  • From the pop-up, select Manage Extensions.

Reset Edge Settings
