- Stop sms_site_component_manager and sms_executive service.
- New registry key: HKLM\software\wow6432node\microsoft\Nal\server\providers
- Add a Reg_Multi_SZ value under it. The name should be “Active Order.”
- Double click it, input the value LOCAL MSWNET NWNDS NWBIND
- Open the command line window. Go to the SCCM installation path. It will be under the “\program files (x86)\microsoft configuration manager\bin\i386” folder by default.
- Run following command line: regsvr32 abnwsvr.dll regsvr32 falsvrn.dll regsvr32 mslmsvrn.dll
- After the .dll is successfully registered in the registry, two new values will be generated under the Active Order.
- Then, we will reset the site. Close the SCCM console if it is opened. Go to “Start\All programs\microsoft system center\configuration manager 2007\configmgr setup.”
- When the setup is launched, please choose “Perform site maintenance or reset this site.” NOTE: It is not the default choice; please make sure they choose “here to avoid removing the site by mistake!
- Choose the “Re-apply default file and registry permissions on this site server.”
- Click Next till finish. Then, reset the site.
- After finishing, a new key will be generated. It is called “Connections,” and the value under it is “Operational Active Order.”
- After that, the NAL seems to rebuild. Then, you can check whether the package update DP works or not.
