Easy way to Enable Education Themes via Setting Catalog in Intune

Today, I will explore an easy way to enable Education Themes (EnableEduThemes) via Setting Catalog in Intune. This policy lets you control whether EDU-specific theme packs are available in Personalization under Settings.

The settings catalog updates policy management and deployment by centralizing and simplifying access to various settings. It provides a central list of all configurable settings, streamlines policy creation, and showcases a growing collection of options.

Education themes empower students with device customization options, promoting a sense of ownership and encouraging responsible device care. Although education themes are not enabled by default, they are automatically downloaded to the device once enabled and the user signs in.

The Settings Catalog is now generally available (GA) for Windows and macOS devices with Intune Service Release 2206. In this blog post, I will explain how to enable Education Themes and the easiest way to do so via the Settings Catalog in Intune.
