The troubleshooting pane lets help desk operators, and Intune administrators view user information. Here you can see how you enable and explore new Troubleshooting Experiences from Intune for checking user and device issues.

Select a User for Troubleshooting

In the Users section, select the user you want to troubleshoot. In this example, we selected Vaishnav. The screen displays basic user information, including the user’s display name, email address, and User Principal Name (UPN). This information helps administrators confirm they are troubleshooting the correct user account before reviewing devices, policies, applications, and other details.

Review the Summary Tab in Troubleshooting + Support

The Summary tab provides a quick overview of the selected user’s Intune status. It helps administrators quickly identify potential issues without navigating through multiple sections. In this tab, you can view information related to policies, compliance status, applications, app protection policies, and other key management details. The Summary tab serves as a starting point for troubleshooting by giving a consolidated view of the user’s overall device and policy status.

Review Application, Device, and App Protection Status

The Summary tab provides a quick overview of the user’s application deployment, device status, app protection status, and assigned roles. In this example, the user has 5 installed applications, 1 failed application, 5 available applications, 3 applications waiting for installation status, and 2 applications marked as not applicable.

The Devices section shows that 1 device is enrolled and currently has no enrollment failures, compliance issues, or offline status. The App Protection section displays the synchronization status of app protection policies, while the Roles and Scopes section shows the number of roles and scope assignments associated with the user. This information helps administrators quickly identify deployment and management issues from a single view.

View Detailed Policy Deployment Status
